Just remember folks the wheel is a marketing tool to get you to buy stuff. Also if you sit around and wait until you get your free amulet then use it right away you’re bound to get the same results every time (see earlier post about random number generators).Try spinning at different times of the day, this is a suggestion not a solution.
How and why would you get frustrated about something A) you can't control, B) costs you nothing except a micro-second of your life and C) is of benefit, to varying degree's?

I think a number of people who play Evony need to get a job, a family, friends and some REAL issues rather than whine about something so entirely pointless.

I find whineing about whiners to be completely pointless too.

People are allowed to voice their frustration, but most times the developers aren't going to listen to them, since issuing your dissatisfaction wouldn't alter anything, because the developers don't care about how their players, who I might add, keep the game up and operating, or at least help with some of the server cost*Talking about the people who spend their hard-earned money to purchase coins in the game*, feel.

I recognize how they feel, I don't get a lot of good things from the fortune wheel, but that's because I'm unlucky, and I'm sure some of these people who are complaining about the wheel sucking, because they always seem to get food, iron, and stone and nothing else, will eventually get something useful.

Its not bad luck Axl, just bad timing. No such thing as luck in a computer. However I've received 250 catapults before that was pretty nice. Yet when you save up 7 amulets and let them go and all you get back is cheep resources you do get a little steamed (free or not). What if I bought all 7 amulets could I complain then? My biggest point is that there are people getting attacked for voicing frustration by die hard purists who can't handle the fact someone is criticizing their beloved baby.

Hate to ruin this for you but they most likely earn more money through advertisements than they do through people purchasing coins. I have seen many sites that have made a ton on advertising than that of what they sold. Perhaps this is the reason for the recent update. Cheers -Dweller2nd-

Btw I still get crappy rewards. XD lol kidding :P

What advertisements are you talking about? There are none that I've seen on this site, so no revenue coming in that way. If you are referring to the advertising for Evony on other sites then you’ve got it backwards. So what advertising are you talking about (or what am I missing! lol)

    First you have to think.

Why are they giving you a free amulet?

Why do they advertise what people get?

Is it really free? Or are they getting something from you?

It's not free, they are getting something from you.

Your attention, and the chance to log you in once a day to be a user in their world.

A world is boring if there are no players.

And the hooked/richer people won't pay for a boring world.

So you need to lure the free players in so there's an exciting world for the paying people to play in.

I suggest, to keep the free players logging in daily, that the amulet be based on your city town halls.

Add up your town hall levels. (maximum 80, minimum 1)

This score determines the quality of the free goodies from the amulet.

So my point, yes, there is a reason to complain about crappy amulet prizes. They lure you in, so, we gotta hope the lure is worth it (along with the game, of course. ) A bad lure is worse than no lure. Like fishing.

I've never found it much of a problem really. I've been getting some good stuff such as the Michealangelo's script and On War Book and so much more. But I do have to agree with you though, I think they should take them off at times.

I prefer any item to resources, even the most useless Hero item is more interesting.

Well said. If someone gives you a free present every day saying there is a chance for a million dollars inside, but you end up getting a free glass of water repeatedly that person isn't going to be appreciative. He is going to get annoyed even when the water is free. Annoyed customers aren't good for business. A bad lure IS definitely worse than no lure. Getting a "free" Speaker for your random roll of the day is just down right insulting.
