    no offfence taken at all.
If we were all thought alike the world would be a terribly dreary place.

I apologise if I offended you with my comment I tend hit peoples buttons without meaning to.

I am what many would call a dreamer. I like to tell stories. It's probably why I have 12 novels in differing stages of completion. One day I might finsih one.... LOL

No worries. I don't get ****ed off by anything or anyone, except myself, my mom and my dad.

And anyway, I'm the same, in that I have like 10 different piano pieces i'm writing all with a general melody but nothing else

*sigh* I wish I could play the piano... I tried but my left hand is rather ignorant.

now don't laugh at me but I am going to reveal something that is really weird... I talk to my characters. or they talk to me, yell at me really if I ignore them for too long.
Which means at the moment I have a head full of prirateers, gamblers, dukes, and dragoon officers screaming for attention.

I like stories that are short and concise, that are simple to understand, that tell what would normally be told in 10x the length.
I can just imagine how awesome any novel would be with those requirements... lets try the first Harry Potter:

Harry didn't know he was a wizard. Then he found out. He went to wizard school and learned magic. Then he fought Lord Voldemort. The End.

hahaha Sorry, I'm not laughing at you, I'm just saying that it'd be rather amusing having a party in your head all the time... would be very fun.

and practise practise practise is the key. A lot of the really really advanced songs not many people can play but usually most songs aren't that hard.

You mean I am not the only one? I am a writer that gets really attached to my characters and when I am writing a story they are all I can think about.

So yes, I am a writer. I have written a few novels, poems, short stories, etc. and I love it. I hope to get published someday, but I am very shy about showing my writing. The only way I can make sense of the world is by writing about it. If I get the nerve I will post something

Edgar Allan Poe did write an award winning short story: "For sale: baby shoes, never worn."

Anyway, detail is one thing, hidden messages are another. I don't mind detail at all. However all this symbolism and other references may leave many people confused. There's nothing wrong with a good book, but if you use complex vocabulary and sentence structures that will scare a college grad, then really, to me, that is not a good book.

Ah a fellow soul mate! You know what I mean!

I get so attached I can't read a chapter in one of my novels without getting teary.

So if not sharing how about your best effort?
My best is 14,000 words in one day, 50,000 in ten days. I have to admit I was rather manic.
I am currently editing a novel which is 198,000 words, 135 (computer) pages long. Unfortunatly instead of culling a few words I am still adding. not good. LOL Ah well maybe soon it will be complete.
