Thread: Walls-fortifications.

    Exclamation Walls-fortifications.

I was thinking yesterday, why you need to upgrade your walls to get more spaces for fortifications you need to build in order to protect your city?

I'm not complaining about anything, just wondering why you need these spaces to make traps or abatis? These haven't built on walls ( or in walls ).
Traps should be around the castle, and abatis too. That how it suppose to be in a real life, well it's a game i understand.

P.S: It will be better if attack on a city was succesfull, then it will be some casualties amolng city's population too. For instance, if loyalty of a city went down by 3 points after attack, then population also should go down by 3%

    Two reasons:
    1. That makes too much sense

    but the real reason
    2. If you could have unlimited Abatis/Traps, I could have traps in your backyard even if you're 25 miles from me.... I could take up all those miles with traps.
If you think that the walls are already over powered, imagine that!

Traps also should affect transporters, B-rams, ballistas, and cats, unless it can fly . And when you click on walls, it shows what strength it has, but in war reports it doesn't mention anything about this, even B-rams are used to destroy fortifications.

It would be better if you can destroy walls too, and fight with troops inside a castle, so it woild be easier to take over a city. For instance if you attacked a city and damaged walls on 15%, then there is 85% left and player can repair it for some amount of resources, mostly stone of course, or if that player won't do it , then next time it is going to be easier for attacker to destroy walls.

Superman lives in each city and repairs every wall after every battle.
Come on, they cannot afford the food to feed the hamsters that keep the servers up, you think they'll go into THAT much detail into the game?
