Thread: Who thought up this pricing structure?

Default Who thought up this pricing structure?

20 dollars for a name change?

24 dollars for a box of medals?

This game is amusing and all, but let's be honest: It's neither as complex as a great many games you only have to pay 50 bucks out the door for, nor is it unique in its premise (these java based games have been around forever).

The pricing structure is completely out of whack. I went ahead and did the 5 dollars for 250 coins thing and that was acceptable to me. BUt that's apparently a 1 time only. The pricing beyond that is way too high.

(This would be why that 5 bucks is the only 5 I spend here)

ANSWER: the people who cribbed this game from several other original sources, hoping to make some quick bucks off it. Anyone who spends money on it is a fool (count ME among them for buying that $5 package too....*rueful grin*).

WHY??? Because after your 7-day 'protection' runs out....some "MIGHTY LORD" is just gonna turn you into his b*tch (ooops, I meant FARM) because THAT is how this is set up.....rotfl.
The Vette is the "lustbucket" - it pulls in shallow HOTTIES even better than CASH!

You don't have to buy anything, but I would suggest get 5 Michelangelo scripts for your coins as they are something that you will want.

Name changes, the last refuge of the scoundrel. To me it says that the developers will let you go around scamming as much as you can out of other players and then for a fee change your name and move your town(s) and no-one will ever find you.

Medal boxes are the lazy mans way to buy a title or rank, probably historically accurate when you think about it.

Some of the other items may be useful from time to time (advanced teleports, war ensigns) but not often and they do sometimes come up on the wheel.

Items are expensive, yes I agree, but not completely necessary.
    PEACE
