I'm in Romania right now and I am having tons of fun. I got over the death of grandfather. I am going camping on the 17th of this month. Its 10:30 here and I am at a friends house on his computer. There is a 99% chance that I am going to stay here in Romania for good. My mother who is still in the states is packing things up and sending us things. I have my PC in some box somewhere but I have no internet at home so it will be awhile before I get my laptop and we get internet. Vote me as Evony Representative from Eastern Europe, Romania! Lol. Talk to you guys later!
P.S Try Romanian foods, there great. (Not that this was my first time trying them lol, I've been eating Romanian foods since I was born and I never get tired of them. And yes, my friends computer is a PC and the keyboards' keys are big which makes it really hard and weird when I am typing.

I'm romanian and some food is indeed boiled, but I wouldn't say lots.
As for vampires, sorry, we're out of vampires. You might try Hollywood.

We never even heard of vampires until after the communism fell. Only then did we learned about them.
OTOH, we do have plenty of holes in the roads, so if you don't get sucked chances are you'll end up with neck broken anyway.

You know, I watched a history show on how vampire legends came about. They showed this one countess from Romania that bathed in the blood of female virgins, and when her are of influence ran out of virgins she was caught because she was taking women from other domains. It was back in like the 1500's or something like that.
