MarkJD, if you want to hear some loltastic irony, I didn't even realize you were on the same server as I am, and my alliance has actually been destroying WIZARDS the last few days. It was a completely unrelated reason, but hey, it turns out I'm actually personally responsible for a few very angry letters of a couple of WIZARDS. Maybe Karma had it in for them? I don't know, I disagree with the reason for your complaint and bringing it to general boards, but there you go... if it makes you feel any better.
You load sixteen tons, what do you get

My army is on the way.

What these people don't realize is that this game is a part of our lives.
Influence on real life is notable; real people making real decisions in real-time.
If you can't take the virtual world seriously, never will you take your reality seriously.
    - As this virtual world is a facet of your reality and everything is serious.
Whether you deem it to be mediocre or not.

You sound exactly like one of my first guild leaders in another game like 8 years ago. I used to think like that until I realized it's much more fun just to treat the game as a game, and have fun doing things I normally wouldn't do in real life, such as pushing my power around. It makes things much less stressful if you don't think of the game as an extension of real life. I attack someone; it's a game, I get attacked, still okay, just a game and I'll try and get revenge. I'm not going to let myself get upset or stressed over negative events in a computer game, that's just silly. We're here to have fun not create another stage for drama.

(I realize your post may be sarcastic; I don't know I can't tell, text is poor at expressing sarcasm)

If he was attacked while unable to retaliate, and his alliance did nothing to prevent future attacks or form any sort of counter attack, then it is simply i attacked you and you lost

I do agree that a serious condition such as his that prevented him from playing is a good excuse but it cannot prevent people from attacking one another

I'm sorry to hear about your friend, but I'm going to close this thread because I can only see it instigating flames.
    It's all Rodri's fault.
