I was thinking of the same thing, why bother about the refilling part when it can be done at any time. Thus the calculation comes up with the same result as quoted.

refilling can only be done if the car is empty, not just when ever.

The question is not null and void there is rocket cars, I watch them race at least once a month at the local Drag strip.

Funny cars use alcohol engines much the same as a Jet Engine and Jet Cars use actual Jet Engines like in the planes with the exact same fuel. The only difference is a Jet Car will pulse its engines with short bursts of 1-10sec.

And I must say the shock wave created is beautiful, I love the feeling of it
