Ok, I missed that upgrade to walls. Christ, you all act like I know everyting. I appreciate the veiled compliments but, seriously, a little less venom and a little more constructive criticism is in order.

Kassi, including wall patches, you are correct. I stand corrected. I will pay more attention to the "front page" in the future.

There is still the matter of AT's outranging archers. Also, with this patch to walls, ballistae are going to be in range of both AT's and archers - all things equal. I like this patch. It gives real defenses to defenders based on wall height. I'm still not sure how ground troops should benefit from walls though. Archers, yes... warriors, no. I imagine this patch was a fix-all with intent to remove non-ranged ground troops from the mix (as soon as the devs figure out how to overlook the range 20 on warriors, for example.)

The patch, by any account, should not give bonuses to ground troops based on wall height - not even archers since they must leave the keep to fight. Perhaps a fix such as allowing archers only one attack per round until (and if) the walls are engaged.
