    Default A minor Evony challenge for you "l33t" players

    Here is a challenge if you think you know Evony well and are a good number cruncher :

    You attack a DEFENSELESS level 10 wall with 100,000 scouts (via attack mission not scout of course). Both you and your opponent's techs are max'ed. City gates are closed. Can your 100,000 scout punch through within 100 rounds?

    You win 1 Speaker if you answer correctly.

    Do I win anything if I know for a fact you are completely unable to provide any players with a speaker?

    Being a number cruncher has nothing to do with anything. Scouts do not effect walls at all, nor have they for a month+. So techs dont matter, nothing matters, the answer is no.

    For fun though because I like number challenges

    scout attack = 20 x 2 (from mil trad) * 100,000 = 4,000,000 per round. Max wall health is 11mil. So in 3 rounds if they were able to damage walls they'd be in. Whee.

    I briefly tested this and I found scouts are not allowed to defeat the wall, no matter how many you send. Although I didn't really test this extensively and could be wrong.

    Btw mil trad is only 50% more attack.

    Standard Battle Reports thread: I scouted and put these amounts into Exercise and got 0 losses. Then I attacked and all my forces died! Wtf!

    On top of that, troops do not necessarily do 100% of their attack power to the enemy. There is the defense stat, and it is possible that scouts have a great deal of their damage mitigated by such stats.

    Scouts are unable to do damage to walls? So if you send 125k scouts against a level 1 wall, they will time out at 100 rounds and return defeated but intact?

    Scouts should have 0 attacks and only 1 defense, ergo, scouts on defense would take out scouts on offensive scouting missions in equal numbers unless overran by offensive scouts. Scouts should be completely useless in combat excepting other scouts of course.

    Fine whatever, 50%, changes the values to 40 to 30, meaning 5 rounds instead of 3. Nitpickers

    Walls have no defense stat, only "Durability" which is equivalent of life in terms of being killed.
