I feel like I've seen this discussion somewhere before

Some people have points others refuse to see anything except from their own limited views. So it goes on and on and on and on...

I read it her points, and I completely agree with a majority of them if you could play 24 hours a day.

Either way, anyone have a 99k archer wave + meat vs 200k+ and fillers?

man I cant believe I started a new page. Sigh.

Anyway, I've already hashed this all out mang, so many times. People refuse to admit they are wrong, and if you ever show that they are, they will just derail the conversation to some other point and hammer on that like its the main point of interest.

Its nice that you're doing gruntwork for testing though. Kudos to you.

    Here I'll prove it:

Kassikas, 41 of the 16,487 heroes on Server 1 the oldest, most populated server, have 200+ attack and of those attack heroes only 6 are level 200+. Saying that all endgame heroes are going to be level 200 and thus totally out of whack with this guys testing is just false. Also the defending heroes attack has nothing to do with how many archers die because scout bombs are all one round fights. It is only hero defense that matters, and attacking hero power. If you fill someones inn they cant steal your heroes.

Oh I remember, I remember most of my arguments although I can't remember what I meant to do down the hall after I get up and start walking down it

I also remember arguing with you about ballista farming but I'm not totally sure I remember what we were talking about. Something about regen times I think?

EDIT: OH I remember now, I said they changed regen times and you said they didnt, and we found out we were both right at the time haha.

Assuming you don't have to sleep and then go to work for a total of approximately 16 hours in a particular day your points are very sound. Otherwise, at some point you'll be missing cities when you log in if you are in a cluster citation. From there, you will be unable to keep up in production from there on out. Cities can fall fairly quickly in a handful of hours, even when reinforced by Alliance 90k trickles.

Maybe I made an error in not having traps or abatis, I'm not sure how much different the reports will look. Either way, if 100k archers don't kill more than 42k archers per wave no matter the size of the defense over 200k, scouts are better for taking down a target quickly in this situation.
100k archers eats 22 million food per day. A level 10 NPC town drops 19 million food each hit, and can casually be farmed twice a day. This means 250k archers can be maintained in a city by farming two level 10 NPCs per city, with a net profit of ~20 million food per day.

That pretty much fits the definition of easy. Even with zero production we are taking about two attacks in the morning, two at night per city. You may wish to reach Evony end game and tinker around with various methods before you formulate opinions on what is and in the grasp of casual players.

Here is a hint. NPC level 10s can support around 150k archers without upkeep.

Also, I have a question for you. You talk about how hard it is to support 250k archers per city. Well, a mass of scouts can not defend your city. The army is useless for defense. That means you still need to have a couple hundred thousand archers in your cities, on top of all the scouts you are building.

So you have your army to feed, which is hard for you, while you are building four million scouts. I would like to know how long you figure it would take to make that many scouts, and how you plan to feed the progressively hungry army while going to work, getting a full nights sleep, and living a life outside of Evony.

Finally, and most importantly, Alliances exist in Evony. In order for the scout bomb to work, you need a high end player who sleeps with their gates open. High end players savvy enough to sleep with their gates open tend to be in high end alliances. High end alliances tend to protect each other.

It doesn't matter if I sleep and work 16 hours a day. When you flash four pages of scout bombs in the war reports, my alliance is going to cover my butt for me. Thats why high end alliances with open gate policies exist.

And thanks to the wall buff, it doesn't take much.

Pokey: Care to prove how you know just what advantages the attack stat provides defending players?

Hahahahah. I love it. I'm sorry to pick on you kass but I know how you operate.

I even put it in my post "I'm going to prove that showing someone is wrong does not work and only will cause them to cloud over the issue by reassigning the argument to a new topic, watch."

Anyway as I said, I don't hold any ill will for you, so don't take it personally. Just wanted to show my man icy here what the score is.
