you outnumbered the enemy and this obviously shows a lack of honor

    true fights happen 1v1

or maybe he killed your defensive trebuchetes and rolling logs and the game just laughed at you

I can not control how many towers choose to defend during an attack, his stupid rating should have increased just for attacking a city with over 40,000 archer towers

your stupid rating should increase for thinking you can have a city with 40k archer towers

Honor system is based on the build cost of your losses compared to the build cost of your opponents losses.

If you have many defensive trebuchet that cost a lot to buld, they can be set of (destroyed) by warriors which are cheap to build and so the attacker can get honor, even though he lost the battle.

On the other hand if you have many abatis and someone is trying to capture your city, if they try to use cavalry waves to attack faster, they will lose honor as cavalry die on abatis.

None of it makes any sense and most players just ignore it, but if you want to regain some lost honor, just go bully your smaller neighbours with single raids, because for some reason, this will gain you honor.
    PEACE
