Once lived in an apartment building that was infested with roaches. It was so bad the roaches hung out in the halls and didn't run and hide from the light.

My apartment was the only one that didn't have a roach problem. Used boric acid, and this gel that you put in cracks and corners, it is a poison bait. If you have any in your house they eat the gel and die. Roaches never crossed the boric acid line I had surrounding the front door and we kept the apartment very clean.

All that equaled, no roach problem for us.
