Newbies complain about things like mech batts being over powered, but that is nothing. Right now coin drops and medal box drop can mean the difference between having two cities and having four. Mech batts are a joke. Getting twice the troop production of other players because you got a lucky wheel spin is kind of BS.
You're off by about a factor of ten. Junior Medal box is $8, Medium $14, Senior $24.

As for the rest of this, well, what can I say? You can either dog it out the hard way or if you really care that much about getting things handed to you then you can always buy the packages I listed above. When you actually have your cities you may find yourself going "hmm what now?" but that's a separate issue.

Though admittedly the whole game timing is kind of off, so just slowing medals down is stupid. I remember with the old (bad) medal drop rates people would have 150k prestige from building their 2 towns to almost full level 9, but they couldnt get a medal to expand to a 3rd town after weeks of farming. That's not a better solution either, except to let them experience endgame a little earlier I suppose.

The real solution devs are missing is adding some sort of content to the game. Either let people at the top levels duke it out among themselves, or give them something to strive for. just making it take 10x longer to get there isnt the answer.
