more or less, Skype is just a communication tool. It allows you to type msgs. to others, talk to others if you have a mic, even do video chats if you want (never really use this feature though). Its just a way that I think we could improve communication to avoid problems in the future.

The screen sharing tool is really helpful to and I dont think any other IM tool has it.
