Well I have valuable buildings such as level 9 academy and other such buildings... They have inherit value. Look up the cost and time of building such structures and you will see. Value is in the eye of the beholder I suppose.

I figure if I want prestige, a demolished city is better. If I want a good city, in the long run a demolished city is more likely to be better, unless the person built everything to my specifications, in which case I would cry. That's not too likely though, as I don't even use five buildings.
Don't mind me, I'm just a few slices short of a whole cake, and a few cards full of a short deck.
I am well versed in the pepperpotter move... or is it the Darwin something or other? If you see no value in this perhaps you should move on. This thread is for people that want to defend against malicious attacks; and my answer remains the same. You never surrender.... stand your ground and leave them nothing!
Excuse me? That made no sense. You stated your opinion, so I am equally entitled to state mine. And my opinion also remains the same, dynamiting your town is a waste of real money and is also quite useless. You seen to be misinterpreting "dynamiting your city is a useless thing to do," with "Here's how you do pepperpotting and I see no value in this thread by the way." How? I have no idea, but you seem to have managed it.

By the way... Dynamite is not that expensive to purchase. 1 stick will do the trick.
I dub this the simcoe maneuver!:d
Not that expensive? I count 32 building slots, a Town Hall, a Wall, and 38 resource slots personally. While resource slots would change from person to person, it would average out at least 50-60 sticks of dynamite needed. Plus, you can only get the dynamite from spinning the wheel of fortune, which does not even guarantee a stick of dynamite. I'll be generous here and say you get a stick of dynamite from the wheel of fortune every three spins. That would be 150+ spins * 5 cents per spin, or 450+ cents. 450+ cents translates into 45+ USD. That's pretty expensive if you ask me, and the real numbers are much higher as you don't get a stick of dynamite every three spins, there's no data but we can estimate it's over ten spins per stick of dynamite.

5 sticks to the most important cities...BOOM... Now, you Darwin of all people should understand the ramifications of COST/RATIOS!!!
Why don't you just abandon the city? Let him take an NPC town. Heh.
For all you math wizards. I AM TALKING ABOUT YOUR MOST VALUABLE BUILDINGS! NOT THE WHOLE CITY!
