What am i?

A man walks in to a room with a 12 ft Ladder on his shoulder the room is 6ft by 6ft by 6ft (Up Left and Right)
He turns around and walks out(still with the ladder on his shoulder) . How Does he do it.
Note: The Ladder DOSENT Fold.
