I really hate you guys. I really do. I haven't had a good hamburger or cheeseburger (I prefer) in a loooong time. Now I'm hungry at 7 am in the morning.
Out of all the fast food joints I like Wendy's Baconator the best. I pretty much like all of Wendy's burgers over the other places.
But as far as gourmet hamburgers, its been a really long time since I had a good one at a restaurant.

The best fast food burger...
Steak and Shake.
Double Steak burger with cheese, lettuce, onion and mayo, side of cheese fries and a bannana shake.
THe best burger ever made...
Mine
85-15 Ground sirloin with minced garlic, diced Vidalia onion, and a touch of A-1 THick and Hearty sauce ( I have substituted Jack Daniels brand Marinade for the A-1 on occaision..gives it a real kick) mixed into the meat, grilled over mesquite chips, in between two pieces of toasted King's Hawiian bread slathered liberaly with Honey Dijon mustard, one thick slice of a Beefsteak Tomato, several rings of Vadalia onion, and a few leaves from the heart of Romaine lettuce. Add cheese of choice..personally I prefer a good extra sharp cheddar, but it goes real well with aged swiss also. ( Using American cheese on this masterpiece is a blasphemy!)
Goes best with deviled eggs and fresh cut Idaho Russet fries cooked in Peanut oil.This will be a running tab on server 27...

The absolute best hamburger is a whataburger. If you have never had one, you must travel to find one. It is a fast food chain only in the southwest US, their hamburgers are big and messy and the best ever. They also have some good seasoned curly fries.

Now I have not had the pleasure yet to have one, but then you might as well throw in a "Five Guys" burger- if you don't know what they are, they serve the burgers in brown sacks, and the burgers drip with some much grease that you have a limited amount of time before the bag rips. Beyond that, look at what Obama got when he went on that burger run.
