Rose Medals

Look at the medals.

In terms of loyalty points they produce, its 5 for the cheapie medal, 10 for rose, and 15 for lion.

So, maybe, the drop rate for rose is higher in 2-3 level valleys and NPCs than a L1 valley. It would stand to reason, but then again, we cant put any bone headedness, asinine, and counter intuitive types of coding past evony.

As a follow up, after a few months of constant attacks on anything that is 1-3 valley, mostly hills and swamps, I gained 1 Lion Medal!! Some will say 1 is better than none, if it had been a rose medal, I might slide over toward that side without total agreement, but after a few months and thousands of deaths and attacks to get 1 medal that won't help me do DI*"K? What a waste! By the way, I used 150 archers on a level 2 hill with a Lvl 20 hero with attack of 35, intelligence 42.

I would get lion medals with startling frequency (read extremely lucky), from L3 barbarian towns. Now I ported and have one right next door. 12 hours from now, ill be constantly farming it for no troop loss.
