Rose medals, in valleys: Simple.

As stated above you need, for best results: patience, lvl 9 or 10 feasting hall, 9 or 10 heroes, lvl 9 or 10 rally spot, a spot open to take a valley and about 1,000 archers. Edit: I hit lvl 3 lakes for best results, 100 archers per wave.

Strategy: Sent as many waves as possible, to the same valley and spread them around 10 seconds apart. Take the valley with the first wave. Abandon. Repeat.

For valleys, the truth is this: By conquering and taking the valley as your own, then abandoning it, it fully regenerates all defending armies.

If this valley is 1 mile from you, you can attack 10 times (lvl 10 buildings) in 2m 06s. 10s spread puts 10 attacks all hit at 3m 16s. Depending on your speed, you can get 80-120 attacks per hour.
