((Here's a fight scene I wrote for a book called "Veneficus." Tell me if you like it. The two characters that are fighting are humans that were mutated by a disease and have been outcast from society. Takes place in modern day on a farm.))

Liriyo continued walking, when suddenly his newly aquired animalistic instincts kicked in, telling him to be on his guard. Almost instantly, a clawed hand swept out of the darkness in front of him and nearly raked across his face.

He jumped backwards, avoiding the strong kick that hit nothing but air, and was still in a state of mild shock when the albino hunchbacked creature that looked similar to how his mutated body looked jumped at him headfirst and drove him backwards into the wall of the barn. He was sent hurtling through the wall, and the creature stopped, waiting to see if Liriyo was dead.

Luckily enough, Liriyo had avoided all of the sharper peices of farm equiptment and landed on a bale of hay. He got up and used his powerful legs to propel himself full force through the hole in the wall and into the creature's stomach, sending it flying backwards into a parked tractor, making loud clanging noises as small parts fell from the interior of the decrepit vehicle.

By now, the farmer inside the house was sure someone was trying to steal his farming equiptment. He grabbed his shotgun and ran outside. The farmer yelled, "Who's there?!?! I have a gun!"

Liriyo ran behind the tractor, barely avoiding a shotgun shell to the head, while the other creature, apparently in a panic, began to run out from the tractor and across the farm, trying to flee. The farmer aimed, fired, and blew a hole through the creature's stomach.

Sure that he had wounded the creature enough to keep it where it was, the farmer put the shotgun next to the door and went inside to phone the police.
Liriyo snuck out from behind the tractor and went up to the house, grabbed the gun, and kicked open the door, taking the farmer by surprise. Liriyo proceeded to, as one might say, pump him full of lead.

He heard footsteps coming from down the stairs. The farmer's wife ran into the room and screamed at the horrific sight. Liriyo used the last of the shotgun shells to keep her quiet. He couldn't have anyone know about his existence.

The children were stirring. Liriyo threw the shotgun down and ran out the door. The creature outside was nearly dead. He quickly finished the job with a quick swipe of his sharp claws and dragged the body to the nearby river.

Running off in the direction he had been going, he shuddered at the horrific sight the children would have to see inthe morning.
