    Default Evony=pyramid scheme

Once you get to a certain level, you cant play without paying. The Ievony system is set up so that you spam on other sites to beg people to play the game, the more people you get to sign up under you, the more tokens you get. The Evony ads are targeting young boys with barely clothed women, everyone has seen on the noob chat people looking for tits and ass. Evony makes money off of this because the more people that hit thier site, the more people pay them to advertise here. Evony is obviously targetting young children to make money.

Once you sign up on ievony, you get tokens based on how many people use your link to get here, then the more they get, the more you get.

You are right, ievony is a basic pyramid marketing scheme.
The rest is not so true.

For one thing, there are no ads on the Evony site so they aren't making money from ads.
For another, once you reach a certain level there is actually very little that is worth spending money on.

The ievony scheme and the ads are about getting numbers in, or as they say in the theatre buisness, bums on seats. Chances are, some of those new players will spend some money and if enough of them do, then that is a lot of money.

Dude, you are simply wrong. Alot of players never pay.

Also, a pyramid scheme is when Evony needs new people to join or else it fails. But the same suckers who pay will keep on paying. Still, IEvony does look alot like a pyramid scheme
Look for Heights in the RPG and story section

A pyramid scheme is one in which the first investors are repaid by money from newer investors.

Since Evony isn't paying anyone, it cannot be a pyramid scheme, by definition. If you're gonna hurl accusations like that, at least research and use the correct terminology.

the ievony scheme is supposed to reward players based on the number of new players they recruit. Even the codes required for signing up to ievony were only given to a small number of players to begin with and they passed them on to others so that they would be rewarded for getting them to sign up to ievony.
This looks an awful lot like a pyramid scheme to me.

Nah, you didn't invest, and in all honesty there is no payout, if there is it's a pittance. It might be a borderline scam, but it's not a "pyramid scheme". That has a narrow definition and requires people to buy in, and the first ones that buy in get paid back from later investors.

No buy-in, no pyramid scheme. Other labels may work.

This is not even close to a "pyramid scheme" or any other scheme. We are giving players incentive to promote the game. Most games have systems that reward people for spreading the word about the game, and that is what we are doing.

Please stop making unfounded, incorrect and baseless accusations about the game.
