I think having kids and being married has made it last so long. We have had our problems like anyone else and at times even hated each other, like any other couple. But the fact that we can't just stop calling each other, or decide to not see each other is a big factor of having to work things out. If we were just dating, we probably would have broken up several times over. Being as we have so much invested, it is imperative that we do our best to work things out.
