OK so i call a few of my female friends "Babes" when i talk to them.. my gf overheard me call them that, and since i call my gf "Babes" as well, she blew up like a Raging Angry Bunny of DEATH.. and is still super cranky about it even weeks later..

SO MY QUESTION IS .. is it wrong to call another girl or guy (for u female advisers) Baby or Babes, other than you significant other?
