Ok...so you censored the word evony to prevent phishers from stealing peoples account information....yet you use the word evony in every attack/scout report that people link to their alliances all the time in order to share information amongst one another.

This censorship of the word evony is one more thing to chalk up on the, "We at Evony could care less about YOU the player" board. A change that was made to prevent more problems/communication to tech support/moderators....FAIL big time, as you are now going to get constant spam about the word being censored...good job guys, create more work for yourselves so you can spend less time answering the issues on here that people are having.

again, it's one of the oldest social-engineering scams around. It's 2009. People don't need THAT much protection from what in this period of internet history amounts to an idiot test.

I mean...seriously...my 9 year old daughter knows not to ever give out her password to her kiddie games that she plays on the internet....pretty sad if someone actually falls for a phisher these days.

I can understand not allowing website links other than battle reports to be posted in chat, as there are spyware/malware programs that can be installed on someone's computer from websites (if the person is new to a computer at least.)

But it would take someone from the stone age to not know that no official rep will EVER ask for their password....hey why not just censor "username" "login name" "password" etc etc instead of EVONY for god's sake.

even that is draconian, since every couple of days we hear the "how do i abandon a town?" question in world/alliance chat. You need your "password" for that.

Let's go a step farther: The people dumb enough to fall for the "I'm a rep" scam aren't smart enough to stay away from the "Hey look the game censors your email and pass. See ************ ********!" scam
