I hate mod approval.

Pi told me a way to bypass the mod approval. Make a post containing only words, then edit in the pictures.

Well I'm pretty sure it's there to keep bots and people from spamming images over and over and over again.

If a bot or someone trying to advertise something just came here randomly chances are they're not going to be intelligent enough or patient enough to figure out that you can actually edit in pictures after you post them. Generally only people who really want their picture to be seen would want to bother with that, which helps stop even players who want to post pictures over and over again from doing so without a lot of effort. So in that way it keeps spamming down and still gives actual players a chance to post something relevant (it hasn't happened yet, but I'm sure in the sometime in the future it's bound to occur) without the mod approval.

That's just my speculation though, it's possible that's incorrect lol. The evony people may just not be aware of it or simply don't find it relevant enough to change it.

Lol yea. Well I don't post a lot of pictures, usually when I do they get approved pretty fast though. There was one that took like 12 hours to approve, but mods have to sleep too I guess Still I prefer that to having random pictures about nothing in particular or advertising websites (or other, less decent things) posted everywhere in the forums

well yes lol, but how many of those do you think they get? Anyways I'm talking 2 days here lol I can live with 12 hours, but unless the mod is a bear, 2 days seems like a bit much lol. Oh well, patience is a vitue I guess. lol

I'd approve it for you if I could. You could also ask a rep to do it....maybe message Valkirah and link him to what you need approval on?

I would strongly suggest that until we can arive with a solution that works for everyone, you simply PM me or Foxy, and we will aprove it as fast as we can. I am usually on at least once every 4hours, if only for a few minutes. In the near future, that will be even more often.

The way I bipass the mod approval for pics is to add a sentence to the post. Works everytime for me.
