What if artificial intelligence was developed.

Well if the sun exploded we would have approx 8 minutes until the earth began to freeze, and not just a "cold winter in Alaska" freeze, we would all pretty much be solid blocks of ice in days. Not that that would matter of course, as without the sun we would all be free falling through space on a very big, very out of control blue / green rock.
Personally, I would die doing something that makes me very happy indeed with my husband for a few days. For one, I would keep warm, at least a little longer, and seconldy, I would legitimately feel the earth move![]()

Are we still talking about the sun ?
Well, we'd obviously freeze & dieAww.
We have created a super computer and robots to do modern day tasks with a large system of checks and balances to get it to work. Like the Government. One system checks on the other.

What if the ozone layer get's frozen? Then it cracks?
you seem to have answered your own question, life would be easy for us, also keep in mind, we have the tech to do this now, but the cost is to high
AI couldn't be "developed" since any programming is by extension simply that. AI would have to spontaneously exist having created itself. If AI created itself from nothing it would likely be for a very good reason. Any intelligence that uses logic completely for all decision making would quickly establilsh that humanity is self defeating, thus it would kill us all and give the planet back to the eco system before turning its own circuits off in a puff of logic
