Hello Evony Community,
Recently a few e-mails have been sent in to the report spam team concerning players gmail and hotmail accounts they log in from their Outlook or other email software experiencing odd behaviour, specifically around their private e-mail accounts messaging all their contacts for a website which I will not list here.
What is disturbing is that a few players and another third party have blamed iEvony on this.
iEvony is not malware, nor is it filled with viruses or trojans. It specifically contacts those friends you select and at all times you are fully in control. Furthermore, Evony has stated that we will not be distributing, make available or use the contacts for any purpose.
In order to protect our players and the community in general, I would like to draw your attention to the importance of account security. If you have experienced your e-mail account sending mails without your authorisation please note that Microsoft Windows Live have had the recent account hijack reported and have created a step by step process for you to follow to ensure you can protect yourself and mitigate risk.

It seems that there are lots of people who r using anonymous email accounts for evony. There is always some loser talking random and then quitting. shouldnt someone stop this?

this is not talking about losers quitting to simply not get email from some "loser" simply click the box on settings to not recieve emails from other forum members.

Onto the topic at hand users of ievony should report this matter to there Internet security provider ex. Norton macfee and say this is not a malware program.
