As a quick lesson on marketing, advertising campaigns do NOT consist of a guy at a laptop cranking out an image and shooting it to adsense within an hour. Teams of people devise strategies. They bring these to the company (say, Evony) for approval. Then the actual ads are created, based on the company's feedback. These are then also submitted for approval and changes are usually made. Next, they plot out where these ads will be posted, how many, how often, what the budgeting is for this campaign and what the expected returns will be. Finally, a small sampling is often done to test out the response to the campaign, and those results are compiled and studied before the final, main phase of the advertising begins.
Average time for this process is about the two-month mark, give or take, depending on circumstances. Evony promised us two weeks ago it would tone down the ads. By my estimates, they still have a good 6 weeks or so to go before we should expect to see the changed advertisements. In the meantime, the other ads are already made, paid for, scheduled and plotted for placement. I would hardly think it reasonable to expect them to dump all that and simply go without advertising until the revised ads are ready.
Have some patience, people. Results do not occur overnight.
