It depends on what that "minor scuffle" was and what the resolution was that you offered. It is very well that your alliance can be acting as bullies in the game and that the resolution you think is easy, may be bad for them.

This is definitely not enough information to go on, it is such a tiny part of the story and of course being your side and so small, it will make you look good. We don't have the full story, nor the other persons side.
