You can't buy coins with paypal anymore. go ahead and sign up for paypal, it won't do you any good. at least not for Evony
Evony uses moneybookers now. Thus, you use what service Evony uses and have no choice in the matter.

actually, i DO have a choice in the matter.
Evony Loses my Business, I will not spend another dime untill i can use paypal.
and the difference between moneybrokers and paypal is nothing like coke to pepsi.
this is my credit card information online... i Trust paypal because of the many transactions ive done through them... and the fact that you can dispute claims if someone on the other end decides to change the deal after you pay.
not to mention Paypal is an established reputable company that has been around forever...
who the hell is moneybrokers? ive never even heard of this company untill Evony announced it. i refuse to use it, im not giving my credit information to some fly by night company.

Moneybookers has been around for a while, maybe not as long as Paypal. There is a big difference between them as far as being a seller. Paypal does not protect sellers of digital goods (anything that doesn't leave a paper mail trail, like game cents) very well against chargeback fraud, which is rampant with Paypal for online stuff and a huge risk to game companies. Moneybookers protects sellers better, therefore they lose less money to chargeback fraud. The problem, for the company at least, is that
1. Moneybookers has far less name recognition than Paypal, meaning a lot less business.
2. Moneybookers is harder to sign up for and use than Paypal.
3. Moneybookers charges the buyer a fee to send money, as opposed to Paypal, which charges the seller when they receive the money instead. That's probably why they have the 6% in there in the first place, to cover the cost of the additional fee (though the fee is like 1% or less so its still extra).
As far as I see though the paypal option is still there for buying coins though.
Same as everyone else; never even heard of that company. And reputation is a big thing...there's a hell of a monopoly w/ companies like that, cuz people only really trust the well known companies...but you need trust to get well known; the vicious circle kills any hope; s'why they use games like this to promote themselves. People trust evony, so they'll in turn trust them...or thas the idea.
Personally, I'm a favouritist..I'd rather stick w/ the one I like more.
6% is sweet FA....I'm not ready to risk my details for the sake of 3 pence worth of cents extra..and thas if I'd even buy fifty pounds worth anyways..doesn't seem like much of a bonus to me...
