I see the problem with the ads as this: They are offensive and objectifying to women. Plenty of women play Evony, and we have enough problems without Evony contributing to them. So even if it is a **** site, it's not an excuse for Evony to have an offensive ad. They don't seem to get this. We women don't want to play a game that brands itself in this way, nor do we want to play with other players that come looking for ****, or have to deal with their rage when they find out it isn't .

And, most internet advertising seems to work thru aggregators. The individual site signs up with, say, google ads but they can't individually select the content. I have seem some real mismatches on political blogs. So, yes, the ads are bound to end up on a site that doesn't want them. But more importantly, no matter where they end up they are blackening the name of this game, and it's a shame the owners don't seem to really care or even understand. The almighty dollar may rule for them for now, but craven disregard will not make this a longlasting winner for them.
