Morality isn't really the big concern here. Hey, I love boobs, i'm one of their biggest fans. Even the misleading nature of the ads, while sort of a greasy tactic, isn't really the issue. The problem is that the ads tend to be so overtly sexual that they attract people who are looking for games with sexual themes, so they create an account just long enough to spam the world chat with messages like 'where is teh boobz' and then leave. The cities they leave behind clutter and lag the servers, and on the off chance they actually spend any money in the time between joining and discovering that Evony is a boobless game, their cities are never deleted. So the problem snowballs.
There's also alot of bad spin on the net right now about Evony and a fair bit stemmed from their ad campaign.
So, in the long term, how effective are these ads really?
