Honestly it wasn't your fault and I have to say that girl sounds a bit... unreasonable to just automatically assume that it was a proposal for her, and that you went to all the lengths to have the screen turn to some other girl (or deliberately take her to a game where you would somehow know this was going to occur) just to make her feel bad. I don't know anyone who would ever go that far just to pull a joke on someone. It seems beyond ridiculous.
