Shoes are great.

And don't you fools realize the only reason we dress up is mainly because of YOU.. well we like to look good for ourselves too.

I was with my high school gf for almost 2 years. She dumped me right before I swam in the 100 yd backstroke finals at the conference meet my senior year and later took one of my best friends, who was my lane partner on the team for 2 years, to senior prom.
We didn't really talk for a year or so bc she and that "friend" ended up dating and are still together. Then just a couple weeks ago, she texts me randomly to tell me that she got accepted to my college next year and she'll be coming and joining the swim team (which I'm on)

WTF.
