Incorrect. The gator I held/ran from had very soft hide.

Thats why you use a bang-stick, not joking- real name, or a shotgun shell at the end of a stick that when you smack the gator with the end of the shell, if goes off, and you hit it on the head.

thats ruins the meat though and patrols wont here the 22 go off but a 12 guage shell with buckshot is loud
