What the secret to kicking the tail of a basher? Are there basher rules?

Depends if they want your city or resources.

If they want your city then teleport, save your self the trouble.
If they want your resources there are methods to hide them in building queues and sending off your army with them.

Havin' a big pile of transporters set aside to carry all your resources away moments before the attack and then recall it is about the most effective way to protect your resources on short notice.

The best way to deal with a basher is to Bash the Basher. Anyone agrees?

    If possible, yeah.
A good way is to get an ally to send reinforcements and open the gates: overwhelms their attackin' force and let them walk back dead.

Make sure they get nothing, and hit them hard in return
