Newbie Guide for NPC

Here is something i can remember from a thread that got deleted, this is the amount of ballistas needed for a successful attack with zero losses on lvl 1-5 NPC's regardless of what your hero level/attack is. Of course you need a Archery/HBR combo with zero losses too.

NPC lvl 1 - 20 Ballistas
NPC lvl 2 - 50 Ballistas
NPC lvl 3 - 170 Ballistas
NPC lvl 4 - 250 Ballistas
NPC lvl 5 - 550 Ballistas

Its better to let the people tone down themselves and not assume your values would work too since it can be different for several people. Now someone can come on here and read forums thinking 'Oh he did it with 475' which may result in a loss of all their ballistas.

To the people who read this, start off with the values i gave and tone down slowly 1-10 per time depending on the level NPC you plan to attack. If you get losses then go up a bit until you have the perfect amount of ballistas to send.

something is wrong because I attacked lvl 5 NPC with 1000 BAL (lvl 7 archery) and lost everything, the only thing i can see what happened was the NPC had never been attacked before... ?????

DeadPoolZ - if you note the comments in the OP, for attacking a lvl 5 NPC with NO losses, you MUST have a MINIMUM of archery 8, HBR 5.

Archery 07 / HBR 07 (Massive losses due to being in tower range, confirmed by Countryrazorback)
Archery 08 / HBR 04 (Smalls losses from units but @ tower safe range, confirmed by thetho21)
Archery 08 / HBR 05 (0 Losses confirmed by me, shoko-koko, Cudaman73)

Until your archery reaches 8 and HBR 5, I suggest you stick with NPCs lvl 4 and under.

This is my guide that I used, and I hope it helps here, I took info from a number of posts to create this. I also tested and it worked for me at the various levlels.

Now the NPC town Hero stats will affect things if you run into high Att hero at a town, but under NPC 5 normally not a problem.

To farm these NPC towns
Your level of stats affect outcome, so these seem safe, I am now farming with less Ballistas and Less Transports, Use as a starting guide and work down from there ;D

with stats - Arch 6 - Hsbk 5 - Logistics 4 - Hero attack 60+

Lvl 1 = 20 bal = 43 transp
Lvl 2= 50 bal = 51 transp
Lvl 3 = 150 bal = 240 transp
Lvl 4 = 215 bal = 323 transp

with stats Arch 9 - Hsbk 9 - Logistics 7 - Hero attack 78/81+

Lvl 1 = 15 bal = 41 transp
Lvl 2= 36 bal = 48 transp
Lvl 3 = 145 bal = 230 transp
Lvl 4 = 200 bal = 315 transp

with stats Arch 9 - Hsbk 9 - Logistics 8 - Hero attack 86+

Lvl 1 = 10 bal = 27 transp
Lvl 2= 30 bal = 43 transp (have done with 26 93+ hero)
Lvl 3 = 140 bal = 128 transp
Lvl 4 = 175 bal = 264 transp

NPC 5 (now with Variables, just like NPC 6 but the listings below do work for me without losses)

Hero Att 95 arch 9 - hsbk 8-9 log 9- transp 532

-LvL 5 NPC 515 Bal Trans 420
arch 9 - hsbk 6 - log 5 Transport 420

now Hero 95+ Arch 9 - Hsbk 9- Log 8
Bal 430 (425) Trans 474

* with stats Arch 9 - Hsbk 9 - Log 7 - Hero attack 81+
* LVL 5 NPC 430 Bal - Trans 430


Hoturoa suggested Lvl 9 Arch & Hsbk, 375 ballista have not been able to get that low yet..

I will do middle ground 435 Ballista with no losses so far
Transport is based on multiples as well, Logistics level so do a test run in your attack calculator
* you need transports for 399999 total supplies

* Logistis is the level that the Transports can carry Higher the level, more goods in total
These are confirmed, though with the server reset, I lost a lot of the logs

Now this was just lucky, I sent this one out for experience and instead of a lvl 4 I sent it to lvl 5 by mistake, luckily not all the ATT towers were back in place.. lucky .. so proves that if you take over lvl 5 npc, second wave smaller is doable...
