Thread: Renovating NPC 10s

    Default Renovating NPC 10s

Assume for a moment that you've just conquered an NPC level 10, that you have already maxed out your research, and that you have infinite time, but that you don't want to use any Michelangelo scripts.

What renovations would you make to the NPC 10?

Looks exactly like mine as well.
    Haven't demo'd the sawmill/quarry/ironmine yet, but I will.
If something seems too good to be true, you're supposed to shoot it just in case.

I would put in some oriental carpeting, maybe a decorative vase or two

No, I haven't touched the resource fields. It doesn't really make much of a difference anyway.

Stunning I bet the level 10 techs also came in handy without scripts

Renovate it by creating as many barracks as you can. Knock down the Stable, Workshop and Forge, you don't want any more than 9 cottages (you can even go lower), and I personally get rid of the Inn and Market (no point having 1 of these per city).

With all the above you can have 17 barracks in the city (with 9 cottages). Then with a reasonable attack Hero (150+ attack) you should be able to build 5k archers in around 4 hours.
