how come you didnt give your own reason why you hate it?

ok i'll give reasons. prepare for a very long rant.

i used to like twilight, but then i read it more, started noticing all the grammar errors and stuff. its poorly written. SMeyer's characters are poorly developed. she doesn't give enough details about them and their personality. we should be able to guess what the characters do while they aren't in the story. SMeyer doesn't tell us enough about the characters and she bases how good/not good they are by their physical appearance. she will go on for chapters on end without any hint of a plot.
and everyone says edward is perfect, but what is perfect about him? is it the way he watches bella while she sleeps? or maybe its the way he controls every aspect of her life. man of every girl's dreams, eh? [/sarcasm] if you thought about him, not accounting for his edward-ness, then you have the basic personality of your friendly neighborhood stalker. and bella has no personality at all... and if you dont take into account the fact he is described as perfect on literally every page, then you get a guy who is paler than a corpse, looks like he had his nose broken and cant sleep at night, and has rather feminine characteristics. and when bella is flirting with jacob tryin to get answers about the cullens and their vampire-ness. she says she uses some thing or another that edward does to 'dazzle' her. there is something deeply wrong when you are using a guy's flirting techniques and its working.
and when she first sees him in biology, and hes being a jerk, she is stupid to assume that he is upset about her, true or not. she hasnt said a single word to him. why would he be? as far as she knows he is a regular human.
also the fact that after not even 6 months edward leaves and she falls into a state of practically-dead, is obsessive and unhealthy. she hasnt been with him half a year and she is practically suicidal. then again if she killed herself, we would be rid of her...
edward is abusive to bella, if i didnt already say that. he is controlling and insulting to her. he must have some kind of personality disorder, because he'll treat her okay one minute and badly the next.
and he thinks sparkling is scary? 'ooh i sparkle! watch out!' psh. he goes on about how hes the perfect killing machine and then he sparkles at her. if his supposed 'good looks' were mutilated beyond comprehension, then i might believe that he was scary. but sparkling? just makes me think he has a young daughter who gets a little too enthusiastic with the glitter and permanently glued some to his skin.
and why does nobody realize the pedophilia? edward is a good 80 years older than bella. that is multiple levels of disturbing. even if he is in a 17 year old's body, he has the mind of a 100 year old man. and then jacob imprinting on bella's daughter. she isn't a day old and he is 'destined' to be with her. this is disgusting.
not to mention the fact that bella having 'relations' with edward could be classed as necrophilia, seeing as how he is dead and all. and if edward's bodily fluids are all replaced with venom, then wouldn't his semen change her into a vampire instead of getting her pregnant?
and on the subject of the movie: the acting was mediocre at best. the storyline was worse than the books, if that's even possible. RPattz looked confused every time there was a close up on his face. KS kept blinking. if you pay really close attention you'll notice that the cullens are only wearing the colored contacts when they try to bring your attention to their eyes. the only reason anyone considers RPattz attractive is because he plays edward who we are told thousands of times in the books. RPattz himself isn't really good looking.
i think that if SMeyer decided to become a terrorist then all she would have to do is spread the word that if all the girls who read twilight would suicide bomb wherever then they would have a dozen sparkly edwards in heaven. SMeyer: 'if you go bomb the white house (for example) then edward will wait for you in heaven when you die.' she has started what could be easily considered a cult.
