Took my a while to figure that out, because I was getting left with 500k iron, and I supposely couldnt train anymore archers.

why do you lower you resource production? If I build a new city do I need an in, workshop, forge. do my other barracks need to be empty in order to share production?

lower the production to free up workers to idle pop.

you need the inn for a feast hall, which you will need to move your highest attack hero into the city to speed up troop production. then once you have the feast hall at whatever level you desire drop the inn.

workshop is needed for walls, which any permenant city will want to have to 9 before you remove the workshop.

forge is needed to build your workshop, once the workshop is level one you can get rid of the forge.

no they do not need to be empty to share, but they need que space.

also depending on how spe******ed you make your barracks you might want to use the share with idle only one when you want to make sure archers are training in your level 4s and not your level 9s. I myself have 2 cities with all level 9s and 2 with all level 4s so I don't have to think about it. tbh I only needed one city with 9s but it helped me ramp up my npc farming that much faster.

another great addition for us newbs, I had never considered lowering production. I just lowered batch quantities and came back a few hours later to set the next que.
