What are your thoughts on the Warrior vs Sword debate? Is there ever a good time to have a lot of swords?

My opinion is that Swordsmen are a waste of percious Iron. Warriors are also much much cheaper. Iron for me, is the resource I always run out of.

I agree, in my resource binge this last few weeks, I have been consistantly pushing iron to 125% the cost of wood.

was confused on how you got 15 barracks then remembered i keep 2 warehouses in case of emergency plunder when offline.

warriors are useless going into battle with archers though as they are always slower than them leaving the Archers vunerable to someone elses calvary/cataprhacts or faster infantry if they're upgraded.

I run low on Iron I just buy until I have enough as its not like there isnt enough npc's out there for gold.

But then Id rather train Cavalry then Swordmen. IMO, Swordsmen are useless, due to the cost of Iron.
