MA bylaws
As a MA member, you have the following rights:
*You have the right to use your nation's resources in any way you choose, however MA also reserves the right to provide preferential aid and assistance to nations that are best utilizing their resources. Nations in the alliance who are suffering the most have the top priority. Assistance is not limmited to military support only.
*You have the right to request military assistance if you are attacked. Members must follow established procedures to obtain this assistance. MA guarantees assistance to those who follow the established procedures.
*You have the right to vote on issues that affect the alliance as whole.
*You have the right to leave the alliance at any time, providing you post a departure message in the appropriate MA forum.
Alliance Bylaws.Mega Alliance (MA)
• Perpose of the MA:
1.To achieve international co-operation in solving international problems of an economic, social, cultural, or humanitarian.
2. To take effective collective measures for the prevention and removal of threats to the peace, and for the suppression of acts of aggression or other breaches of the peace.
3. To develop friendly relations among Allied nations based on mutual respect.
• Collective security : understood as a security arrangement in which all states cooperate collectively to provide security for all by the actions of all against any states within the groups which might challenge the existing order by using force.*Note this only includes attacks that have occurred after the treaty is signed.
A. If an allied country is attacked each allied country is obligated to repond in kind to the offending alliance.
B. A meeting of alliance reprsentatives will conveen to disuss appropriate retaliation.
C. Cordinating attacks will be estential to our success. We must decided together when and how to attack for the greatest possible damage to the offending party.
D. 20% of an alliances military might must be set asside for Collective Security.
E. 20% of an alliances resources must be set asside to help suffering alliances.
• MA Charter:
1.The Organization is based on the principle of the sovereign equality of all its Members.
2. All Members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, or in any other manner inconsistent with the Purposes of the Mega Alliance
3. All Members shall give the Mega Alliance every assistance in any action it takes in accordance with the present Charter, and shall refrain from giving assistance to any state against which the Mega Alliance is taking preventive or enforcement action. (During times of war, MA members are prohibited from sending aid to the enemy, or those who are helping the enemy.)
4. If there are any hostilities between member states they must cease immediately.
MA Positions:
Ruling Council: MA is governed by a ruling council, elected every 90 days by the MA membership. The MA council is sworn to protect MA from outside threats and assist MA members in both enjoying and becoming successful.The ruling council consist of 7 members selected by the reprsentatives.
• Act as a governing body for the MA alliance.
• Write new laws and policies for the betterment of all MA members.
• New laws and policies require a simple majority.
• Perform the day to day duties of keeping the MA alliance strong and organized.
• Declares war, requiring a vote of 5 out of the 7 council members.
• Chairman:MA’s military operations:are directed by the Chairman of the MA’sMilitary Committee, and split into two Strategic Commands both commanded by a senior officer from each state. The Strategic Commanders are responsible to the Military Committee for the overall direction and conduct of all Alliance military matters within their areas of command.
A. A charman will be elected by the representatives: He or she chairs all meetings of the Military Committee and acts in an international capacity.
B. Each state has equal say in military matters, the chairperson simply conducts the meetings.
• Chief Negotiator: Must be a wise and Tactful individual. They will handle all negotiations with hostile alliances on behalf of the MA. A vote will also be held to decide who this idividual should be.
1. In negotiation you are often selling yourself as well as the idea that you want to get across to the other person. If they believe in you, then they are more likely to believe in your ideas.
2. When decisions are being made, be deliberate about finding and selecting criteria that the other person can accept as being fair.
3. You can deliberately engage the other person in a search for fair criteria, asking them 'what is fair'. You can also bring along something that is, by definition, fair.
• Secritary:
1. Shall keep a Journal of its Proceedings, and from time to time publish the same, excepting such Parts as May in their Judgment require Secrecy; and the Yeas and Nays of the Members on any question shall be entered on the Journal.
2. Be responsible for tracking elections as well as nominations.
