I agree with most - the interface changes are great, but the icons for buildings leaves a bit to be desired.

Maybe they should add more brown to it. Brown brown brown brown brown. Also, the city walls are also brown now, and appear to be the same height regardless of level. Bummer.
    LMFAO

Yep, i do like the new features, ok the graphics could use a little more colour but again, its something to look at in future updates.
Still got those damn annoying pop-up's telling us what someone else has won though, we really dont need to know this !
As for the war declaring, i agree with another post somewhere that it should be added to a seperate tag, as it clutters alliance chat with who's declared war on someone else, again, unless its your own alliance, do we really need to know ?
But complaints aside, Top job people

    Keep it up, i'm hooked

I like the new interface and the new changes. It brings a whole new "shine" to the game

One thing i do not like is how hard it is to get medals or items in the new game interface. Before it was easy to get items and medals, i guess the admins lowered the frequency. The only thing that it says is "# Items gained from battles relate with casualty."

It also seems that the lag is better (lesser) now.

The interface is great, I would like to see a popup tab for troop building time though as most people have severral barracks and its anoying having to go through them all to see whats being trained and there is just enuff space to add that.
I hate the new building graphics, they are unclear, borring and look amaturrish and they also clash with the main map graphics that are quite cool as maps on browser based games go. Also it is dissapionting that the walls dont grow as you upgrade them. Some people may say the image of the game isnt inportant but when you are looking at the screen for hours on end and fined it hard to tell buildings apart image is very important.

Found it. On the map screen, click on your city name in the upper right corner. You get a dropdown menu with all your favorites.

I know this is just my first post, but I'm not all too new to the game.
The new "upgrade" is what actually caused me to register on to the forums and post a comment about this "upgrade"

First off, the new interface is awesome, all the minor details and tweaks made the game so much better to play and manage, such as the commas for numbers, the indication of how much reports you have, friends list. Details like that is what makes the game great.

However, the graphics, with all do respect Civony Graphic Designers, this is not your best work, at least for the graphics within the "Town", the "City" graphics are debatable. But for the "Town" graphics, it is new more difficult to notice differences in structures, for example, the Barracks, it was once just a white structure with a blue roof I believe, now it looks like any other building almost, and that goes for a few of the other structures too, see how the roofs of these structures are closely identical. I even thought my Workshop was a cottage, an upgraded cottage. Which would be a nice feature, see "Town" structures change and grow as they are upgraded like the Walls once did.

Speaking of walls and their growth, that is what I'm most disappointed with.
Having the walls look different at different levels was such a nice feature and eye catcher in the game. The idea of being able to make your walls larger is great because it keeps the players eyes more interested, now that these walls are the same, it just... dull, unappealing. I remember when I was new, and I got a Lv.4 Town Hall and Lv.4 Wall everything grew, and it was awesome, it made me want to see what it is going to look like next if I keep up the upgrades. The "Town" Graphics also look too modern for the era that the game is in, the graphics before, I believe was best fit, Gray walls, just like in the story books.
What I think could be a nice improvement is to have the Town structures actually get bigger as it upgrades, maybe not as fluent as the Walls once were, but something to keep the players interested. The idea of having something physically grow and achieving it feels like a great accomplishment, like the player actually built that wall themselves. And having that difference in growth with the walls is also a good way to tell your Villages,Towns, and Cities apart. Now they just all look like Towns.

I know this is a long post, a soar look to the eyes, but for those who read it and listened to my opinion, thanks.
But this new "upgrade" really took a toll on my interest of the game.
I know there are people out there who claim to be no shallow, but for something like this, looks is everything. That is usually what it takes for someone to get interested.

    I love the less lag.

Like the new features. They could be tweaked a bit, but a good start.

I hate the graphics. The city and resource images have a 1990 3D computer game look. I don't like it, and the colors are all the same making it hard to do anything.
