A popular tactic for dealing with traps, rolling logs, and defensive trebuchet is to send several waves of warriors prior to your main force to get rid of them. Now, normally this would result in honor for the attacking force since the defender's losses are worth more resources than that of the attacker.
I have noticed lately that this no longer seems to be the case. Warrior 'spamming' of traps no longer gains honor even when the resource ratio is quite lopsided.
My question is this: Have they finally changed the honor system so that it depends on victory to gain honor? I have tried to find a more extreme example than warrior spams to find out but have none in war reports that are recent enough. If anyone does I'd be happy to see it.
Furthermore, have they stopped announcing their patches? I've played other games where the developers would change major aspects like this without any announcement and it gets frustrating. I, for one, agree with the change if that is the case but I do like to know when something large is altered.
