I can't seem to get the transport button

I have everything I need and have tried three separate times to build a second city. Once I conquer the flat I do not get the picture of the city or an option to build a city or to transport. I am a knight, had weel over 10000 in each resource. 999 workers, 2 barracks above level 2 etc.. Can anyone help?

Once you have conquered the flat. You need to recall your army.. then click on the flat and the option to "Build City" should appear next to "enter".

It then takes a while for the workers to get there and set up camp.

Not always, I am having the exact same issue. I have done the quests, I have opened the chest and I am also still civillian. (it's not letting me build a new city)

I did reach lvl 3 Town Hall, activated everything in Chest and I'm still Civillian. What am I missing?

Lets make it clear first, civilian, knight, baronet are TITLES. should be easy to understand for anyone who can bother to hover their mouse pointer over the icon in front of it. In the game.

I was looking for INFORMATION about RANKS and ended up here. Ranks are lieutenant, captain, major, etc.

I guess i may as well post the question here then.

What exactly is the purpose of a Rank?

Ok. Titles let you build extra cities, but what benefits do ranks give? Apart from one - Major, which allows you to become a Baron - the rest of the ranks seem to have no purpose.

Do they have a purpose?

If anything I think the ranks should increase the level of tax income. For example, captains benefit 5% extra gold from their currently set tax level with no population loss, next rank major benefits extra 10% from his current tax rate and so on.

Guess I am going to post that last bit in the ideas thread too.

But yes. I'd like an answer if there is actually something that RANKS are useful for.

I had the same problem as everyone else seems to be having.

I had everything, eg Knight, 250+ workers, 10k of each res etc.

It seems I had too many occupied valleys.


Town hall was level 5, & I had 5 occupied valleys.

After trying many different variations, I eventually abandoned 1 of my valleys.

Then when I sent the attack troops, they conquered the Flat. I then got the option to build my new city.

So it seems whatever level your town hall is, you are allowed to occupy the same number of valleys/flats.

eg, level 5 town hall = 5 valleys, or 4 valleys & 1 flat, or 3 valleys & 2 flats etc.

My town hall is level 5, I have tried abandoning every thing I conquered. My problem is it won't upgrade me to knight.. Because the chest is now gone.
Can anyone help me please??

I have tried everything in this post to build my second second city. I am a knight I have over 10,000 of gold food iron stone and lumber and 252 workers. I have three heros 2 barracks level two a level four town hall a level two rally point.I have abandon all the flats and a mountain I have conquered. reattacked the flat recalled my troops and still it will not allow me to build the city.

Is there a chance that I could get an answer to what are the ranks for, what do they do?
