The reason it cannot is archers versus towers is ONE variable in a string of variables neded to ACCURATELY determine success rate.

Research is VITAL to overcoming and defending against attacks. If you have a 10 archery, that helps until your opponent has lvl 8 walls, lvl 7 archery, and level 9 Engineering. At this stage, your archery 10 means nothing. You lose.

Your Hero's attack makes a difference. The HEro defending makes a difference.

You want a generic answer, 5 archers to 1 tower. Want another generic answer, 90k archers. Always send the most you can in case your opponent opens gates and is reinforced.

Please, in the name of common sense, post detailed information or else you will get partially correct answers. This is your troops count, your research in combat (Medicine, Iron Working, Etc), a scout report that is valid (do not delete the report or we can't use the link, so make a pictire and post that instead) or type the opponent's information. Let us know if he is in a guild, let us know what his prestege is (is a fair indication of hero ATT, not perfect but something to go by), and let us know if gates are open.
