    Thumbs down Chat Timestamp

Anybody else think it's ugly and not that useful?

I can see some point, but it is not even on server time, its local, rendering the idea- attack at x time pointless, as you already have the server time clock by your stats

I find it funny that they implement yet another change to the game without notifying any of their players. We don't even get a notice AFTER the change other than noticing something is different. How hard is it to send a mail to all players, "Hi, we have made the following changes." They sure don't find it hard to send a mail to every player when there is a new bonus package to be bought.

I appreciate that they put that in there because many people were asking for it. It shows they are in fact listening and trying to please people.

I would've thought it would be in server time though. It needs to be. The silent patching of small things that don't impact gameplay performance at all, such as if they silently changed the stats on a unit instead of first telling us its going to be changed, then allowing a week before it actually is changed, isnt a big deal at all. Its fine to me.

A popout time stamp when you hover over a message would be more aesthetically pleasing I think.

its not set by your time zone, its set by your IP.

for example. I am sitting a friend's account while they are out of town. He lives in new jersey. i log in, timestamp is still in my timezone for arizona.

At first it was an eyesore to me, then I got used to it and don't even notice it.

No matter the size of the change, They should give notice.
The log-in screen? I don't use that, I go to the homepage directly each time to log-in and its not there but I use the forums alot even if Im not logged in(probably the same for most people) and there's no notice here of all things.

Also, You can't turn the bloody thing off, Its annoying just for that.
