would help. But still doesn't fix the problem with defenses being overpowered. I have not been attacked 1 single time all game... and unless the game changes... i doubt I EVER will. When you can allocate 800k archers and 200k ballistas, nobody is gonna have a chance to break. So, I don't even worry about attacks.
But, the same thing goes for the players in my comparable range. So, all the big players end up doing nothing but picking on the smaller guys that have not built up this super defense.
So, you sit on this huge army with a HUGE food upkeep... with nothing to do but attack smaller players and NPC's to support it. This is a war game... Make it one.
I was gonna suggest to make a war ensign give the ability to send an unlimited size army. But, I don't like the idea of making a premium item NEEDED to play the game.
Or, you could make it so the more cities you have... the more troops you can send. You can send 10k troops more for ea level of rally spot for ea additional city you own. So, when you have 10 cities, you can send 1 million troops from a city with lev.10 rally. War ensigns could still adjust this inflated number. So, the most possible would be 1.25 million troops to attack with. The current food upkeep would prohibit armies from getting too much bigger in size.
