I don't really want to start something with you, but if your going to say things like 'Good moral constitution', than I'll have to remind you of what happened when they took Jeruselem, or in their war with the Greeks, or the Spanish

    Cool

Why dont they make the map look like the real world. ita be a more interesting game than just squares. u could have ports and build ships and sail on voyages of conqust and that kinda thing. that would be awsome!

I voted for all of them because then a world map could be made for the reason above. Crusades would have to be crusader states though.

your probably thinking about when Genghis Khan was ruler of the empire, but later on the mongols invaded Poland, Hungary, and Transylvania. But at the battle of Legnica, the Mongols defeated a combined force of Poles, Czechs, and Germans, including Teutonic and Templar knights on April 9, 1241

If that were the case, would you find most players building cities in the country they lived in? And looking at the racism thread, I think that would develop big problems between the countries...

Yes the Islamic countries were strong, but when the mongols took Baghdad the Muslim rulers rushed to swear allegiance(out of fear) not just to the Khan but to Hulagu the general who took Baghdad.
Prince of Mosul boasted that he would take Hulagu by the ears, but saved his own life by saying he would take the ear to fix golden earrings on them. Another prince Muslim prince gave Hulagu a pair of socks with his face on them so that Hulagu would walk on the prices face everyday.
So no the Islamic countries were not the dominant countries at the time.
