    Default History Poll

I am an Honors History undergraduate (completed my first year in college); the Holy Roman Empire has been a great passion and interest of mine. Other history interests consist of the Ancient Greeks, Romans, Diadochian Period, Byzantines, Carolingian Franks, Holy Roman Empire, Polish-Lithuanian-(Ruthenian) Union and Commonwealth periods, Swedish Empire, Italian Renaissance (as opposed to the Carolingian Renaissance and the Ottonian Renaissance) and the Napoleonic period as well as the Orleanist (Bourbon-Orleans) regime.

I hope that there will be a volunteer position available soon within the Evony Community titled "history researcher" in order for the game to be more historically accurate.

the mongols in my opinion were the best during medieval time because not only did they destroy the European knights at their prime, but they also establish the largest empire ever until the British Empire.
ok first of all GUNPOWDER destroyed the european knight not the mongols

Second they had the biggest empire EVER the british empire didnt come close

Meet the Gustav Gun, the biggest gun ever used in combat. Now, what was that you said?

the mongols added firearms to their arsenal and they destroyed the knights in several battles with and without firearms
the mongol empire WAS the largest continuous land empire covering 22% of the world, but the british empire actually covered 25% of the world though it wasn't continuous.

Well, as you aparently don't know there were no Romans left by the middle ages, the fall of the west was infact what marked the begenning of the low middle ages and though there was the east, a they would not have been calling britannia anything, and b they spoke greek
    They spoke Roman AKA Latin

I'm not sure who you mean when you say they, but 500 or 600 Latin was no longer spoken anywhere outside of the church, and don't double post

Does it have to be a real country?

I was always partial to Arthurian legend, such as in Malory.
